Season 2, Episode 10: Hunted
"He said that I had to save you. That nothing else mattered. And if I couldn't, then I'd have to kill you. He said I'd have to kill you, Sammy."
- Sam getting mad at Dean was a little unwarranted, in my opinion. I guess I see both sides of the coin. It was a lot to put on Dean too.
- The boys drink beers from open containers in public places a LOT. (That's the lawyer in me noticing that).
- Setting the beginning of this episode in one of Ava's visions was a great plot device - a really good way to introduce the fact that she had visions too, that she was another one of Azazel's "children" by seeing Sam blown up.
- I love that Muse's Supermassive Black Hole was playing in the background of the scene at the Roadhouse - one of the few non-classic rock songs, but a modern classic.
- "I just remembered, when I was a kid, I swallowed like, eight things of pop rocks and then drank a whole can of coke, you don't think that counts as a suicide attempt, do you?" Awesome line from a non-major character.
- Oh, Gordon. God, I hated him. But the sad thing about Gordon was, for all he got in the Winchesters' way, he really thought he was doing the right thing.
- Sam and Dean's code word pre-"Poughkeepsie" was "Funkytown." Haha.
- "Son of a bitch" count: 1.75. ("That's my mama you're talking about.") The .75 is a "son of a" that Dean starts saying and that Sam cuts off.
- Dean screaming while gagged after the explosion - so sad.
- Just realized that we're 10 episodes in and Sam still has the broken wrist.
- Sam calling the police was one of the smartest things he's done in this show. And he's pretty damn smart.
