Season 4, Episode 2: Are You There, God? It's Me, Dean Winchester

"Why me?  If there is a God out there, why would he give a crap about me?  I mean, I've saved some people, okay?  I figured that made up for the stealing and the ditching chicks.  But why do I deserve to get saved?"
What I said then:

"Misha Collins has pretty incredible eyes.  #Supernatural #Season4"

  • It's funny to me that they were doing research on Castiel. So funny how distrustful they were of him - how Dean didn't even believe he was actually an angel.
  • More pie references - "when have I ever forgotten the pie?"  And then Sam promptly forgets the pie.
  • The viciousness in how the vengeful spirits killed the hunters . . . holy crap.
  • Meg looks weird with long hair.  And also, it's really weird to me that the demon kept the human's real name.
  • Bobby's panic room was awesome, as was the dialogue between Dean and Bobby about it.  "I had a weekend off."  "You're awesome."
  • There seem to be a lot of Grand Canyon references on this show.
  • "If you're gonna shoot, shoot - don't talk."  Bobby always gets right to the point, I love it.
  • When Hendrickson tells Dean what happened to the police station when Lilith came . . . horrible.  I tell myself that he was just saying that, but I know that it was more likely than not the truth.
  • I love the sound of the angel wings before they appear.
  • "Three days ago, you thought there was no such thing as me."
  • "I thought angels were supposed to be guardians.  Fluffy wings, halos - you know, Michael Landon.  Not dicks."  "Read the Bible."
  • "You should show me some respect. I dragged you out of Hell.  I can throw you back in."  That is still one of my favorite things that Castiel has ever said on this show.  So badass.
