"Why do you think you two are the vessels? Think about it. Michael, the big brother, loyal to an absent father, and Lucifer, the little brother, rebellious of Daddy's plan. You were born to this, boys. It's your destiny! It was always you! As it is in heaven, so it must be on earth. One brother has to kill the other."
Okay, seriously, I can't even with this episode. I can't. The sitcom theme song is one of my favorite things ever. The Grey's Anatomy parody is one of my favorite things ever. Everything about this episode is one of my favorite things ever.
Then:
"Yay!!! I love Trickster episodes!!!!! #supernatural #season5 #livestudioaudience"
"Ahhhh I love the #Supernatural sitcom theme song! With the Full House font! Hahaha #Season5"
"Sam and Dean are on Grey's Anatomy!!!! #supernatural #season5 #tricksterepisodesarethebest #nomaryis"
"I love them mocking Denny Douquette #supernatural #season5"
"'Oh my god it's him. It's Dr. Sexy.' #Supernatural #season5"
"Misha Collins was in the Full House credits, he'd better be in this episode! #Supernatural #Season5"
"Yay!!! There he is! But Mr. Trickster does not like pretty boy angels :( #Supernatural #Sseason5"
"Sam has genital herpes. #Supernatural #Season5"
"Castiel is back! And he's all beat up and has duct tape on his mouth! #Supernatural #Season5"
"Ok, #season5 is definitely my favorite season of #Supernatural so far."

Now:
- I love the bright colors of the sitcom scene - how the motel is the same set used in the "real world" scenes but it looks totally different because of the colors
- I also love Dean's fridge full of condiments
- Amazing. This is one of my favorite Supernatural things ever.
- I love that Dr. Sexy M.D. becomes an actual thing in this episode - when it was just a passing reference in The Monster at the End of this Book
- "Would there be any reason that Lou Ferrigno, the Incredible Hulk, would have a grudge against your husband?" I love how seriously that line is said.
- So we find out in this episode that the "Trickster" isn't actually a trickster at all, but really Gabriel. But until that point, every time we saw a "trickster" it was the same one - were there ever any other tricksters?
- Dean didn't know about MySpace, but at least he knew Facebook
- Why would the boys just assume that there had been a murder? Was that the police code on the scanner?
- "The Trickster trapped us in TV Land." "That's your theory. That's stupid." Dean was so quick to shoot it down, and yet that's exactly what happened!
- "This show has ghosts? Why?" "I don't know. It is compelling." I will never not laugh at them making fun of Denny Douquette being a ghost, especially since Jeffrey Dean Morgan was in both shows.
- Dean geeking out at Dr. Sexy is so funny to me.
- "I swore part of what makes Dr. Sexy sexy is the fact that he wears cowboy boots. Not tennis shoes." "Yeah. You're not a fan." "It's a guilty pleasure."
- I love the music in the Dr. Sexy scenes.
- Sam's face after the surgery, when Ellen Piccolo mouths "I love you" - so funny.
- How did Cas even manage to get into TV Land? I never quite understood that. Since obviously Gabriel didn't want him there.
- The genital herpes commercial is so good.
| at least all your girlfriends die before they can catch it, Sam! |
- I love the dialogue in the CSI scene.
- Plus any excuse to hear Dean make fun of people wearing sunglasses at night douchebags (just like people who wear them inside in Dog Dean Afternoon)
- I love that Sam was able to feel Dean going through the trunk of the car
- "Should I honk?"
- "Where'd you get the holy oil?" "Well, you might say we pulled it out of Sam's ass.
- "Son of a bitch" count - 6
