Season 5, Episode 9: The Real Ghostbusters

"I am not a fan, ok.  Not fans.  In fact, I think that the Dean and Sam story sucks.  It is not fun.  It is not entertaining.  It is a river of crap that would send most people howling to the nut house.  So you listen to me.  Their pain is not for your amusement."
  • I forgot about the frantic music at the beginning of the episode as the boys are rushing to get to the hotel
  • The row of Impalas is pretty hilarious
  • "I just borrowed it from your pants."  Becky is so crazy.  And yet so awesome.
  • I watched Home Alone this past winter . . . once you know it's Buzz in this episode, it's totally obvious
totally the same guy
  • It's funny that Becky is wearing plaid . . . totally in character
  • Also I love that most of the fans of the book who are at the Convention are men . . . I have not yet been to a Supernatural Convention, but I think it's safe to say most of the people at them are going to be women...
  • "Who gave you the rights to our life story?"  "An archangel!"
  • Wouldn't Chuck have had a vision that this place was actually haunted?
  • "You're the chuckles, Chuckles."
  • I really like the name Leticia Gore
  • “How original.  Supernatural bringing us more creepy children.  Sigh.”  Have a point there, Hookman.
  •  “LARPing as cowboys and Indians.”  Love Dean’s delivery of that line.
  • “Just give her the puppy dog thing, okay?”  I never caught that line until this time around, but too funny.
  • I really love that Damian and Barnes wanted to help
  • "Supernatural makes digging graves seem so easy.  It's not though."
  • Chuck is pretty hot when he yells "I said nobody leaves, damn it!"
  • "Maybe we should put these things on a bungee."  Seriously!  It's a good idea!
  • "You're wrong, you know. . . about Supernatural.  No offense but I'm not sure you get what the story's about. . . . To be Sam and Dean, to wake up every morning and save the world.  To have a brother who would die for you.  Well who wouldn't want that?"
  • "Like a monkey on the sun, it was too hot to live."  That line is so great.
  • FIRST CROWLEY MENTION!  Wish he'd actually been mentioned in Time is On My Side, but I guess he couldn't have been
  • Love that Beaches gets another mention in this episode.  Two references in the series - so obscure but awesome.
