Season 3, Episode 10: Dream A Little Dream of Me

"You can't escape me, Dean.  You're gonna die.  And this?  This is what you're gonna become."

Ughhh this episode.  I have been dreading getting to this point in my rewatch since Season 9 ended.  Our first glimpse of Demon Dean, six seasons ago, and I just can't.

• "No one can save you because you don't want to be saved.  How can you care so little about yourself?  What is wrong with you?"  Hey Pot?  This is Ketttle.  You're black.
• Poor comatose Bobby.  I know it's all a dream, but it still is upsetting to see him attacked and lying in a coma!
• I feel dirty that Sam just had a dirty dream about Bela.
• And Sam stammering over his words and being confused about what Dean meant when he referred to the Dark Side of the Moon - he's like a little kid in this episode and I love it.
• "Guess the hair of the dog's better than other parts of the body."  Hahaha.  True.
• Everything's so bright and so colorful when Sam goes outside.
• "I'm not gonna let you die.  You're like a father to me."
• I forgot Lisa was in this episode.  Awww, Dean.
• Dean's worst fear.  "Dad knew why you really were.  A good soldier and nothing else. Daddy's blunt little instrument.  Your own father didn't care whether you lived or died.  Why should you?"
• "I didn't deserve what he put on me and I don't deserve to go to hell."

"You're gonna die! And this?  This is what you're gonna become!"

• I can't.
• They let Bela steal the Colt.  Boys.  C'mon.  They are LUCKY the hellhounds came for her, or they would have gotten themselves into a lot of trouble.
• "I've been doing some thinking, and . . . Well, the thing is . . . I don't wanna die.  I don't wanna go to hell."
• Oh God, did they really have to end the episode with that scene again?  I can't.
