Season 4, Episode 15: Death Takes a Holiday

"You made an exception for me."
"You're different."
What I said then:

"Shane Botwin on #Supernatural.  Go figure.  Creepy little weirdo. #Season4"
"Dean and Sam's faces when Shane just asked "Who's Mr. Miyagi?" = Priceless.  #Supernatural #Season4"

Now:

  • Finally, Misha Collins is back in this episode.  I didn't realize until I watched this the second time around how few episodes he was actually in during Season 4.
  • When Dean tells Sam "I love how matter-of-fact you are about that.  Strange lives" about Sam saying they should talk to the last person who died in the town - too funny.  Just calling it like it is.
  • "I know you want to think of yourself as Joe the Plumber, Dean, but you're not.  Neither am I.  The sooner you accept that, the better off you're gonna be."  "Ah, Joe the Plumber was a douche."
  • "You want some aspirin?"  "No thanks, House."
  • "Get out of me."  "You're such a prude!"
  • Tessa shows up in seasons 2, 4, 6, and 9 . . . a pretty long lasting recurring guest star spot
  • "The pain of losing my father and Sammy.  I just . . . I wish I had gone with you for good."  Oh Dean.  So much more pain.
  • "Who's Mr. Miyagi?"  I know I haven't seen The Karate Kid, but that line makes me laugh every time
  • I love the boys learning from Shane.  (I can't call him Cole.  He's Shane Botwin.)
  • Poor Pamela.  She's not my favorite recurring character, but she really got screwed with this whole thing.  I'm glad we saw her doing alright in Heaven in season 5.
  • "Whatever I ask, you seem to do the exact opposite."  Haha.  Truth.
  • "If you think you have good intentions, think again."  Poor Sam.  I do think he had good intentions, but he got in over his head.
