Season 4, Episode 22: Lucifer Rising

You stupid, stupid son of a bitch!  Well, boo hoo, I am so sorry your feelings are hurt, princess!  Are you under the impression that family's supposed to make you feel good?! Make you an apple pie, maybe?  They're supposed to make you miserable!  That's why they're family!

Second time around:

• I get chills every time I hear Carry On Wayward Son
• Bobby yelling at Dean about what a brat he sounded like - so true, and I loved the tough love speech
• It's really weird to me that nobody noticed a nurse wheeling a baby out of its parents room and into a hallway
• I love the burgers and beers the angels had ready for Dean when he got to their "green room"
• Super awkward when Zachariah tells Dean "you're looking fit"
• "Look at you, all 'roided up.  It's like A-Rod and Madonna over here."  Haha - love the A-Rod reference
• I still can't believe that Sam got so obsessed that he actually killed the nurse so he could drain her blood
• Dean says sarcastically that he wants to talk to Sam about "the B.M. I took this morning..."  Doe she mean bowel movement?  Seems like there are a million other slang terms he could have used to refer to it.
• At this point in my rewatch, I must have fallen asleep because I can't even read my notes
• I love when Dean punches Cas and then grimaces
• "There is a right and there is a wrong here and you know it."  You KNOW that Dean was getting through to Cas, but Cas resisted for so long.
• So I'm assuming it was the angels who manipulated Sam's voicemail?  Cruel.
• When Cas covers Dean's mouth and let's Dean cut open his arm . . . that is so hot to me.  And also it immediately reminded me of how Sam would slice open Ruby's arm . . . I could see how Destiel could be a thing.
• First time we get to see an angel banishing sigil!
• I love when Cas and Dean show up at Chuck's, and Cas sends Dean to Sam and stays with Chuck to deal with the archangels and Chuck puts his hand on Cas's shoulder
• I don't get why Lilith glowed white when Sam killed her - is it because the seal was broken?
• This final scene with Ruby - her "I was the best of those sons of bitches!" and "Even you have to admit - I'm awesome!"  That's my favorite scene that GenPad does as Ruby - her pure glee in that last scene is so good
