Season 2, Episode 21: All Hell Breaks Loose, Part 1

Thoughts now:

• "See if they've got any pie!  Bring me some pie!  Love me some pie."  First reference to Dean loving pie.
• The ice cream man drove through my neighborhood right as Sam was waking up in the opening scene - I got really confused and thought it was in the episode.
• "I just woke up in freaking Frontierland."  Glad I'll reach Season 6 next week-ish and I can see if this same set was used in that episode.
• The poor Roadhouse. Poor Ash.  Who's now ash.
• "D. Hasselhoff" is Dean's signature - I love it.
• "Crazy's relative."
• The scene with Sam and Jake talking about how Sam's keeping calm even though he's scared - it makes me sad to know what's coming.
• Fredric Lehne was only in three episodes of Season 2 - pretty crazy after all the Yellow Eyes talk for more than a full season.  Do we even know his name is Azazel yet?
• Sam's first taste of demon blood.  Funny how this episode set up season 4.
• "It's you!"  I don't know that I even caught that the first time around, but it all makes sense now - it'll take another season and a half to learn what Mary meant, but I love that they knew where the story was going even back then.
• Poor Andy.  Just like Dean, I really liked him.
• I hate that Ava ended up going nuts there with Azazel.  She was so sweet when we first met her.  
• Knowing what's going to happen with Jake and Sam is stressing me out.  SO. MUCH.  Knowing what I'm going to see in a couple of minutes . . . 
• Pick up that knife, Sammy.  Don't leave that knife there, Sammy!  If you're not going to finish the job, you need to take the weapons with you!
• Dean and Bobby arriving just as Jake stabs Sam - the fact that Dean had to witness that is one of the worst things ever.  "It's not even that bad, alright?"  "That's my job, right?  To watch out for my pain in the ass little brother?"

This is the worst ever.
